Watch this: Jose gets his ass kicked with zero effort from Hong Man Choi in his first (and only) MMA fight. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=af8NmSimsL8

Won't bring your dog back, but it might bring some satisfaction.

EDIT - I'm pretty ok with my top-voted comment so far being about Jose Canseco getting his ass kicked.

For one, the insane amount of construction and traffic surrounding the airport. Makes leaving and arriving a nightmare usually.

I’ve seen a few AMAs by self-published authors over the years and they all tend to downplay the fact that they paid to publish their work themselves until specifically asked. I’ve known a few people personally who have done the same thing and they ALL downplay the self-publishing aspect. It’s just not the same and the quality is never there.

but I write more off of feeling.

This is something (similarly, at least) a LOT of young writers I've talked to say. I used to think the same. Eventually that gets abandoned because 99% of the time you can't create a cohesive, well-thought-out story if you're just making it up as you go.

I wish you the best of luck! Keep it up.

Edit - Some of y’all are giving me examples of like the top five writers in the world who have been doing this for decades.

In my experience, when flying into/out of NYC, inevitably every single person I ask will have a completely different opinion about which airport to use. Last four trips I’ve used LGA but I’m wondering about JFK or Newark. Generally my first stop from the airport is in the West Village on Manhattan. Do you have any experience getting into the city from the three airports?
