And I want a Ferrari.
There is a path to joining the EU, this treaty is not strictly speaking part of that path, and the final step of that path would be unanimous approval by all current memberstates. It also includes certain demands about financial and political stability that Ukraine currently is not even close to living up to.

Recently, I noticed something: it's extremely easy to spot which of my colleagues reads fashion blogs by the degree to which they follow certain trends that exist almost exclusively on-line: grenadine ties, double monks, Aldens (which may be bigger in the US, I dunno; they're just rare here in Holland), etc. I never know what to make of this whole "dressed by the internet"-thing, especially as I suffer from it as well.
Any insights as one of the leading causes of people being dressed by the internet?

It'd be inappropriate for him to comment, since what's at stake is approval from the Dutch Tweede Kamer, and he's not a member of that institution. Strictly speaking, he's got nothing to say on the issue.

Fun fact: the reason the war lasted 80 years, is because it's such a nice, round number.
This is slightly less absurd than it sounds. It's just that there's room for debate on when the war started, and the year 1568 was chosen for various reasons, including that it makes for a nice, round 80 years of war.
