Have you ever had an animal present in court, and was it well behaved?

My dad (who is an attorney, and a good one at that), has a story about taking the bar exam. It goes thus:

"I hated studying for the bar exam. I studied 8 hours a day, did a hundred multiple choice questions a day, you name it. I was absolutely terrified I would flunk. I walked in to the bar exam, and the number one student in the class three years ahead of me was taking the bar exam for the fourth and final time. (You get four shots at the bar, in the state where I live.) He was puking his guts out in the bathroom. I felt like puking my guts out too. I didn't. Next day, I came back, the guy was there, puking his guts out again. However, I knew I was going to do okay because they put me in the same seat two days in a row. I ended up passing. Pukey guy failed again. But hey, he ended up making a killing in the real estate market and is now a big shot millionaire."

TL; DR: Lawyers fear the bar exam. Sometimes if you can't cut it, there are other opportunities out there.

When did all of the symptoms for your various ailments begin to manifest themselves? Was there ever a time you considered yourself "healthy?"

Even so, rumor has it that only 1/4 people who take this route only pass the bar exam on the first try. It takes just as much time as going to law school, too, if not more.

Law student here. You can do anything you want for undergrad. But ask yourself this: if you want to be a lawyer, what's your second choice? Do that, and seriously consider staying there. If you cannot see yourself doing ANYTHING else, then go to law school.
