I heard the same news and can't speak on what others had seen, but I do have a minor story of my own that sheds some light into Solar's ego.

Just after news got out about Guru's health troubles, I checked out a track from the Solar-produced Jazzmatazz Vol. 4 on YouTube and commented that the beat was hot garbage compared to Premo's work and the first 3 Jazzmatazzes.

Solar was so thin-skinned and micro-managing that he started beefing with me and sent me like 3 DMs and posted on my channel about how he is one of the greatest producers of all time.

You'd think one of the greatest producers of all time would have more confidence and more important things to worry about.
