With so many reviews on whether or not the ball "broke the plane" on a touchdown, I have always wondered why, with all the technology we have, why can't there be some form of chip in the ball that could really determine if the ball crossed or not? I would think it'd be easy enough to a) put other chips on the goal line under the turf or b) in the pylons. Same could be done for yard lines. Are we just keeping the orange flag person's job here?
