I'm from Alaska. I'm going to have to say no.

Many moose get killed on the highway. The carcass gets donated to a list of needy. I'd like to see some of the carcasses go to the top of the Hillside to feed ravens. I hate to see them garbaging downtown. A raven will lead you to a live moose. Do you see that happening when you hunt? I know my plan to leave or distribute dead animals to ravens has problems. I tied a poached moose carcass high up in a spruce tree outside my kitchen window. Small birds ate that ribcage and the bones for years.

I'm sure they would like a whole moose but isn't a gut pile and head nice for them? And I didn't know Oregon had moose.

In your new documentary where you visit the bus and talk about your brother it states that no one knew he was there alone with no gear. Jim Gallien knew he was there. Do you ever think Jim should have checked on him at some point? Or told somebody he was there alone? Jim gave him the X-TraTuffs and the tuna melt sandwich his wife made him for work. I know it was ultimately your brothers decision. But Alaskans go out of their way for strangers and people in trouble or unequipped for hard conditions. Jim is a relative of mine. Now ex relative. I hold him somewhat responsible. I really like your brother and I still cry about his story and his skinny little body. I don't know why he gives me such strong feelings. I hope you are well, and we will never forget your brother in Alaska.

That's so cool. I accidentally walked under a moose on Ft. Richardson when I was about 9. I got out of a car and he was walking down the sidewalk. He was a huge animal. It's rare to see them that big around the cities anymore because of cars. Why don't all cities put in animal corridors and culverts? I'm a serious animal lover and I'm fine with a good guy like you hunting. Eat well, my friend.
