Biggest mistakes you did in early stage of your YouTube channel ?

My question - when you started YouTube channel most probably like many others growth would have been slow. When someone starts YouTube channel growth is so slow , depressing and frustrating. How did you kept on moving ? How you used to motivate yourself? Your channel is humongous now ... Congratulations... Your videos are awesome .. Love your channel I started my own channel a year ago and my YouTube is growth is so slow that it's actually depressing. I hope to seek some motivation from you.
