So, in the 90s and early 2000s, a lot of people were obsessed with internet security because they thought that everyone on the internet was out to get them-- every link could have a virus or some kind of malware, you should get a firewall (nay, TWO firewalls!) because all the hackers on the internet are targeting you, never tell your IP to anyone, etc.

So, what's really out there? I doubt I (and many other people) are prime targets for anything-- I'm not nearly that important, and most people aren't either. Instead of the scary masked hackers who will steal all your bank information because you typed it in too slow in the login page and they were able to record it (lol), what should people really be concerned about?
