Wasn't the episode actually a help for sufferers? It helps to educate people that Tourettes is not just verbal ticks. Also stands up for the Tourettes sufferers in calling Cartman out as a douche.

There's a lot of people in this thread being downvoted for saying something which is true. OP is focussing on trying to find happiness in the things which used to make him happy. 'Normal' has now drastically changed for him and it will take a lot of time to get used to living a different life. However, many people are able to move past these shortcomings and find happiness in new things. I'm not saying that everyone should dissuade him from doing what he wants, but people should be trying to give some perspective to help him focus on things that he could still enjoy. If this had happened years ago then i'd say do it, but it didn't and he's still coming to terms with the changes. Downvote me but suicide is final. You can find many many people on Reddit who are massively thankful that they didn't bow out in their darkest hour. Why not give it some time (at least longer than a year). Do you not think you owe that to yourself? Good luck whatever you choose.

Robin Ince is one of my cousins. Never seen him mentioned on Reddit before. I'll ask him about his dislike of Brian!

One of my friends did this. There was a camera crew following him throughout the process. Don't have the link for the program but it's called "My Kidney and Me". http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2182696/Why-I-gave-kidney-complete-stranger.html

Situations change and people find new happiness in different things. 'Folding your hand' is final. I can't even imagine being in your position, it's truly shitty, but please remember that you can can still find enjoyment in life whether through helping other people or other projects. You never know what the future holds... please wait a year or two and see if your attitude changes. This is the only hand you'll ever receive, and believe it or not, some others are in a shittier situation and still find huge amounts of happiness.
