I'd love for an answer to this question. It's not that I have a problem with the lyrics, but that my perspective is really jaded and they kind of confused me. With the theme of the album, it seems to make sense as more of a philosophical quandary. But on its own, and compared to the older works of the band, it's a very contrasting song.
