In mad god: I really loved the creature that catches your protagonist deploying his briefcase in the dark caves before his downfall. I was wondering if your creatures were made using conceptual art first- or if you just jumped in and started sculpting? I’m very curious about your processes!

I was also wondering if the little crying baby critter was at all inspired by eraserhead- or if it was just a similar idea?
