I met Terry Pratchett at a book signing wearing a Discworld T-shirt I got free with a copy of the first PC game many, many years ago. As you can imagine, its pretty rare.

So when I go up to get my book signed Pratchett is all "That's a nice shirt!" I was super hyped and it made my day.

My point is, it really doesn't take much to make someone happy, and Billy Corgan sounds like a fucking tool.

I looked at your post on saving 75% of your income, realised I've probably spent $200 on video games this month alone, and remembered why I'm not travelling around the world right now.

Do you still get a chance to play games at home? If so, any favourites from 2012?

I imagine you have to generally be indoors (or at least in one place) to do things like web design and app development, so how do you balance your need to do things that make you money with actually experiencing the places you visit?

So I understand the core conceit, but what's the meat of the game? Is it Minecraft crossed with Magic Carpet (procedural worlds + fixed goal per level), where earning enough progresses you to the next world? Is it pure Minecraft, and I stay in the same world until I am bored?

What keeps the player coming back over the course of 5/10/30 hours? Some overarching narrative?

The core idea seems neat, but is there anything for people that want a bit of structure to their game?
