Except Cho used two handguns which are already heavily restricted in many states, so your second point is moot. One of which was a .22, which anyone can buy anywhere.

I'm sorry you had to deal with the tragedy, but further restrictions isn't going to stop people who want to kill. Most shootings are a mental health issue, not a gun control issue. You deal with the mental health problems, the gun control issues go away.
