Why. Not a question, a statement.

Well not really started, I started with programming, but the first software I used was yours, after I learned things manually. Eventually I made my own programs, but yours helped so much.

I am a current 17 year old hacker, but I don't do white hat for people. I hire myself to do jobs if anything, none of this sketchy crap. Stealing and laundering is less sketchy than this. Oh, and fuck your school district. Obviously you had great intentions at the end at the very least so they really shouldn't have charged you with anything. The point where you messed up?(I am only indicating this for any newbs reading, I know you know) You messed up when you identified yourself. Why did he you may ask? He wanted recognition for this skill he had. It is a temptation every hacker has, and if indulged it more often than not leads to prison terms. But thank you for sharing your story OP, and long term plan you could go black hat and not worry about revealing who you are...or become a legal freelance penetration tester. Those are 2 areas that you could enter right now, one illegal the other not.
