Hello Mansoor! Thank you for this!

If I may ask, what do you do during Ramadan, in terms of fasting and adhering to....like, all the rules and stuff? I know some exceptions can be made for people within Islam about if they have to fast during Ramadan depending on what they do for a living(or...I've heard there are, I should say), and I assume (hope) the Corps would also be trying to accommodate you.

And does it depend what your Corps duty is at that time (eg, how do you handle it during a deployment, does it depend on where and when the deployment is etc?).

thank you for answering, and for your service. I'm sorry your fellow Marines are...you know, assholes.

I don't know how to word my question but, I work in a school for kids with ASD and ADHD and we do a lot of language and phonics work.

You will of course be aware of the tendency in SOME British children with ASD who actually speak in an American accent, because they acquire much more language than we think from the TV they are watching (which they may get hours and hours of a day, versus just a few hours of school or one to one speech therapy).

Since US children can have a natural impediment with R and W (saying 'I was wunning away from the bad man' rather than sounding out the R of Running) I've occasionally noticed my British-but-speaks-in-an-american-accent children repeating the same impediment.

How do....accents, languages, the accent a child has from their family or their surroundings, impact any other issues with language learning?
