Oh man we just went to Disneyworld last month ---one of our friends had never been, and she just went into remission from having a rare cancer---she had a button on her chest that "I'm celebrating being cancer free!" and at one point we were at one of the shops in Harambe Village in the Animal Kingdom that sold sweets/chocolates/caramel apples....and the lady whispered "Pssst hey you cmere!" and she went over and the lady had put together a packed up candy apple for her and said congratulations and that she was really happy for her. I thought that was the coolest sweetest thing i'd seen in a while. She was very genuine and kind!

Dont forget the important part of that story....that the ones selling the Coke recipe were Coke employees that wanted more money.

I found this interesting because I've always lived a lifestyle of "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger"...sure that's not always...accurate...but people that religiously wash their hands, or use anti-bacterial soaps and such....I've never been that, and growing up I was the kid playing in stagnant pools of water and not concerned with diseases etc (Also, you know, ignorant to what's out there at the time)....but I rarely get sick...maybe a slight sore throat once a year, and if I DO get sick, it's once every other year or so, and it knocks me on my ass.

I always believed that was partly in due to exposure to bacteria and germs that helped me build a strong immune system to reduce the likeliness of getting ill.

You know, I've never had any issue with immigrants except one. That so many never learn, or even try to really learn English. I lived in Texas for a while...and it's sad that Americans need to learn Spanish basically, because English is almost the minority language in some areas. I don't care if they come to this country, it's supposed to be the land of the free, after all, but at least try to learn English...is that really asking so much?

You on the other hand, came over, and worked your way up, got an education (A good one at that!) and sound like you've done everything right! I hope becoming a citizen goes smoothly for you :) Kudos my friend!
