Hi! I've never solved a Rubik's cube in my life, but I want to learn how to do it. For those who are interested in learning like myself, what tips can you give us?

Also, does it necessarily make you smarter if you start learning how to solve it? If yes, what differences did you experience prior to learning and after?

I personally don't have the desire to learn speed cubing, simply because I think it takes a ridiculous amount of training and I'm too busy for that..and I don't think I can move my hands that fast LMAO.. Though I am genuinely interested in learning the algorithms, so that one day I can solve it in 5 to 10 minutes. I will definitely buy a Rubik's cube this week and start my journey!
