I do lift, and I have mild Tourette's. My major tic is flexing/twitching my right forearm and shoulder, so you can imagine how that would affect weight lifting.
It's only happened once before that I had a tic reflex in the middle of a set; I twitched my arm sideways and got way unbalanced (was doing arm curls), nearly dropped the weight.
Most of the time I'm not worried at all, since I can focus on my form.
