This reminds me of my favorite MT story.

So my wife and I are at Medieval Times outside of Baltimore - this is important. The show is just starting and each section is broken up by colors with specific medieval cheerleaders for each. This particular show was one where they encouraged everyone to cheer for every section and vigorously cheer for their own. There is just one exception - no one is supposed to cheer for the Green Knight. They really hammer this home. Cheer for everyone, boo the Green Knight.

One by one all of the knights March out. Each one is cheered in turn. There is a growing tension as we all wait to jeer the Green Knight out of the building. You can just feel the hate brewing in everyone. Finally, it's the last knight, it has to be the green one, and as soon as he's announced the hate starts raining down.

Then he walks out and that's when everyone notices that he's the only black knight. All of a sudden the crowd gets VERY awkward. The boos just kind of stop and a tense silence envelops the crowd.

There is something that doesn't feel quite right about a mostly white crowd booing the only black knight. Then again, is it racist if we don't boo him? No one really knew what to do so what started as a thundering chorus of boos turned into one muffled 500 person groan.

I found it to be hilarious.

No question here. I just want to let you know that I bought 4 of your prints a few months and they are now prominently displayed in my living room. Nothing starts a conversation like looking at a picture of Jefferson showing a gorilla what's up with the Declaration of Independence.

Keep making crazy stuff.
