Regarding FF and MM, do you think that coming trends will be changed given the inclusion of translated novels by authors like MXTX on bestseller's lists? Their novels are adventure based but definitively MM romance as well with whole chapters for smut & romance.
(Chinese author Mo Xiang Tong Xiu aka MXTX has 3 MM series currently on American/world bestseller lists/tv show, Rou Bao Bu Chi Rou aka Meatbun has one w/more in production; Priest has several in production for translation (and tv shows etc).)
