From my understanding cbd works best when all hemp's other components (including thc) are present. This is why full spectrum is usually better than isolate. Hopefully u/TruPotency_Science can follow up on this??

How long until you can resume normal activities? Surgery recovery blows. I hope it goes by swiftly for you!

Silicon ear plugs greatly improved my sleep, I highly recommend them!!! I've even used them at camping music festivals, that's how good they are.

This might be outside of your scope but have you come across anything in regards to pregnancy, fetal development, and marijuana (thc) use? I would also be curious to hear about CBD use during pregnancy.

My background is in public health (maternal and child health) and this is a subject that never seems to have direct answers (understandably). The latest info that I've read has pointed towards thc being potentially harmful for fetal development but nothing super conclusive. I've been very interested in studies with CBD because it is known that women who use thc during pregnancy do so because of nausea and I feel like there's potential for CBD to be the better, less harmful, alternative.

FYI just want to point out that I know smoking (anything) is harmful for fetal development and significantly increases the chances of the child bring born low birth weight (which adds a host of issues for the infant after birth). My question is more about thc/cbd themselves.

Thank you for the ama, the answers thus far have been super fascinating to read!
