Or imprisoning them in obscure camps.

I’ll be honest, I think it’s unrealistic to want us to militarily intervene since it’s A) reckless, B) not going to do much, if any, good and c) will only endanger people (both American, Hongkongers, and Chinese).

What we did do though is stick a middle finger at China by selling $8 billion worth of F-16s to Taiwan and have an aircraft carrier recently in the South China Sea in defiance of China’s at best dubious claims to the region. An American diplomat at the US Consulate General (along with her kids and IIRC her husband) in HK was also all doxed by the CCP since she met with protesters.

Edit: also, the trade war that we’re in with China seems to be hurting them (it’s also hurting us but...)

If it makes you feel any better, many cops here in the US do connect with their community(one of my school's old security guard retired to become a police officer and he's been nothing but connecting and caring).

  • How do you view/what are your personal opinions regarding the United States?

  • How do you feel about US forces being stationed in South Korea?

  • If North Korea fell due to a revolution or whatever, what's the best way to help North Korea?

  • Are you for or against the reunification of North and South Korea?

  • Say you were forced into the North Korean military and somehow rose to a pretty high ranked position(as in general). Would you use your position to benefit the people and possibly lead a coup?

  • If you were forced into the South Korean military because North Korea sent millions of troops south, would you stand and fight for South Korea?
