Hi Bas, thanks for doing this AMA. I was wondering if you could tell me how far along you are in negotiations regarding launch vehicles for both the unmanned and manned parts of the mission, and also if there are any plans for the lander for the manned mission?

Will the first rover you're sending to Mars be functional to the mission at all? Or will it only be for demonstrative purposes?

Can you confirm or deny that you're having talks with the United Nations about the legal parts of this mission (re. responsibility and ethical dilemmas), or at least that the Netherlands Space Office is doing so? And if not, what do you think your role in international space politics should be?
