How did you realize you needed to get that checked? Did you exhibit symptoms?

I have a 3 year old Ragdoll cat that must be pet whenever he eats dry food. He doesn’t get dry food very often anymore but when he does, he would sit and meow until I pet him. If I stop petting, he would stop eating. But if I keep petting him, he could eat his body weight in kibbles.

I’ve brought him to the vet and everything seems healthy. Is this an anxiety thing?
