How has Twitch Turbo been going? Are streamers seeing sustainable revenue from it? Is Twitch getting meaningful income from Turbo subscribers?

I recall suggesting an all-in-one subscription model in one of your viewer surveys and a few months later you rolled Turbo out. I signed up right away. :)

I've bought 3 books from Lulu myself and I have been pleased with the quality of them. They were all paperbacks with glossy color covers. The quality was comparable to any other book I've bought. I would not hesitate to purchase a book from Lulu. In fact, given the coice between Amazon and Lulu, I would probably pick Lulu for an independent author because my perception is that the author would get a better cut from Lulu.

Edit: Upon rereading my comment, it sounds like astroturfing. I just think self publishing in general is a good idea and I wanted to offer my experiences.

So, what's the deal with Kabam? Did they approach Twitch or vice versa?

I personally think it feels really out of place on Twitch and I've seen similar viewpoints from a lot of other Twitch viewers. It just doesn't make a lot of sense apart from "They paid us a lot of money".

I have not read any of that stuff, so I don't know! I have been too busy working.

I find this fascinating and bewildering. You spend 7 years creating a game about communicating ideas through gameplay (among other things). You must have spent time thinking about how that communication might succeed or fail and how your deeper story will be interpreted.

Aren't you curious?

As an artist, for you, is it 100% a will to create that is satisfied by the act of creation? Or is it more a strong work ethic causing you to postpone digging into people's reactions and interpretations?

For my part, I would have a hard time not reading what people thought of a game or pice of writing I put out into the world.
