I'm scared to die.

In my old age, peacefully, accident, horrifically, doesn't matter. I'm terrified.

What can I do about this? It's not a crippling fear, but lying awake in anxious turbulence or jolting up from nightmares has increased since my grandfather passed away. I'd really like to be at peace again, or at least able to file away the thoughts.

When I used to work at the TTC, that happened because the system-wide announcements were broadcast over radio rather than through wired PA. Some operators would relay the message verbally, some would just play the radio garble. Not sure if that’s changed in the last ~5 years.

Hi Zach!

I'm graduating from university (college for Canadians eh) soon and I'm absolutely terrified about the future. I have no idea what I'll do, where I'll end up, or who I'll become.

Do you have any advice for facing those sorts of fears?

Hey there!

I just got laid off from my first ever real adult job yesterday. I'm still here working out the week, but I'm terrified about my future. I think my next steps are clear (collect employment insurance, look for new job, be careful with spending, etc.) but the daunting mental task of tackling it all is really getting me down.

Do you have any suggestions on how to keep your head after that kind of shakeup?
