also theres such a huge selection of classical music out there, really really good music people consider to be some of the best stuff ever written, that we were able to go and curate songs and selections that really fit exactly the moods and themes of each area of the game. I listened to hundreds of pieces trying to figure out what would work.

TEiN renders vectors. I wrote code that loads them directly from flash files so theres no need for an in between step to convert them or anything

Ed and I started working together in 2008 when we made Aether. Florian was busy and he had me on his AIM list (cause I messaged him once years before) and was like hey you're a programmer right wanna make this game about climbing clouds to reach the moon? Sent him a prototype of how that worked a couple days later then we finished the game a week and a half after that. About 2 weeks total. Was the smoothest development cycle either of us had atthe point and we realized we worked really well together.
