First off, I appreciate you allowing me to shake hands with you and say "hello" when my stunned wife and I ran into you at Orlando International a few Christmases ago. You made our Christmas that year.

Secondly (for both you and Mr. Sayles), I enjoy following involvement of directors/producers/writers pushing for strong stories with female leads. Have you heard of the Bechdel Test and what are your thoughts on having female leads carrying a movie?

That's what I find so mind-boggling is that even female execs has a male-oriented bias. I've been working on trying to write some screenplays centered around female leads and it's tough for me to get out of the male dominated mindset. Thanks for such a great response!

Do you believe that one day humanity can look past our boundaries of ethnicity, religious views, gender, sexual orientation, etc. by embracing our differences and pursing specific goals (exploration in science/space, assist in developing third world countries, efforts to end hunger/poverty) in order to better ourselves as a species? Why or why not?
