The reason I watch this morning show as opposed to the others is because it's more "newsy".

History and the other channel used to be my favorite channels. When I got sick and had to start working from home I would put it on in the morning and leave it on all day. Of course I had seen everything after 6 months but then I listened to the reruns while I worked. Just calming and relaxing for some reason. Some great narrators too, like Edward Herman.

Now it's turned into the guy channel. I am not interested in pawning junk, picking junk, killing gators, fixing cars or watching manly men do stuff in the woods. Just nope.

I miss The Universe, How The Earth Was Made, and various specials. I think my favorite was The Little Ice Age. I even read the book, which is excellent.
