Yeah, in America why do we print our money without backing it by anything? Wouldnt this come back to haunt us?

I dont want to put give a valueless peice of paper value through the illusion that it does have value when it doesnt. The only way it would have value is if its backed by gold or silver. Doesnt matter anyways. The US cant go into a infinite amount of debt. Gonna have to pay it off sooner or later. 22tril in debt and counting that is. Our currency will default and everything will go to crap
