That does actually already exist. I'm currently working on moving exactly this kind of bloated VBA/Excel monstrosity into SAS, because Excel was giving up and throwing "Out of resources" errors. It's pretty satisfying; SAS does in 4 seconds what Excel was taking nearly 30 minutes to crunch through.

Just to add to /u/ramaling1's response, I think there's often a disconnect between how researchers/industry experts use the term "Artificial Intelligence", vs how the general public views it
Laypeople tend to associate "AI" with sci-fi machines that are as smart or smarter than a human, like Data, Skynet, or HAL-9000
To industry experts, however, it really is an extremely broad umbrella term, that covers everything from decision trees way back in the 60s, to modern LLMs like ChatGTP
Marketers aren't abusing the term, it's just that most people don't quite understand how broad a term it really is

Well no, almost all editors let you configure it to insert X spaces when you hit the tab key (where X is usually 4 by default). It behaves exactly like tabs when you're editing, just without looking all wonky when you switch to viewing it in some other editor that doesn't have the exact same tab width.

Just keep in mind, even if you do go fully blind, you've got great odds that it's only going to be temporary! With the rate that medical technology is advancing, we're gonna have all sorts of bionic eyes and brain implants rolling out in the next few decades.

Just wanted to mention that the Offworld Trading Company OST, also by Christopher Tin, is absolutely fantastic. Some of the best music for studying I've ever heard.
