Hey Bill - How are you able to pretend to be an advocate for “anti-scientific thinking” after your insane show about “gender fluidity” that completely ignored all scientific fact and evidence based information?

I know. It's absolutely astounding how ignorant people are of how the world works. I have friends that went apeshit over the reports a few weeks ago about requirements to enter the US and I'm like - have you even looked at what it takes to move elsewhere? Even sainted Canada - have a kid with a autism or disability? Sorry, they won't take you.

The truth is, most people who are up in arms about this a) either are illegal or have someone close who is and don't want them to have to be held accountable, or b) are stupid people brainwashed by SJW thinking that somehow living in the US is some right that should be granted to anyone on Earth who wishes it, and don't actually understand the situation or the logistics at all.

Kudos to your family for doing it the right way. I know many folks in similar situations and they feel similarly - they or their family members worked hard to get into this country the legal way, and resent those that try to circumvent it.

That was amazing. Thank you. I think a lot of lessons can be learned from what you just said. As someone who has more of a claim to "victimhood" than most people will ever experience, notably at how you have been dragged back before the public to relive it so many times, the attitude of "I won't let this define my life" is something that is sorely missing today.

And thanks for looking up Christina - sorry about that haha. It's funny because I've always seen parallels between your personal stories and the stark contrast of how you both chose to deal with it in the public eye.

Thanks again - I look forward to reading the book!!

As someone who is now 38 and is much like your son - I loved to to be Wonder Woman during pretend when I was his age, I loved to play with some toys that were supposedly "girl" toys, and who has grown up to be a very happily the man I was biologically born as - I am so grateful that no one ever labeled me as "non-conforming". I am gay, and I still collect some dolls (and action figures LOL) - because "girl toys" and "boy toys" are a complete cultural idea.

There is no logic to an action figure with hair being for girls and an action figure without hair being for boys. I really worry because if you had asked me as a kid if I wanted to be a girl, there were times I might have said yes - but ONLY because people gave me crap for playing with something they felt was "for girls".

As an adult I am very happy to be a male who happens to like dolls. My life would have been ruined if I had been labeled as a kid as "non-conforming" leading to "trans" and been a childhood recipient of hormones, etc. There is nothing wrong with being a man who likes stereotypical "girl" things - if he starts to show body dysmorphia and actually starts having issues with the parts he is born with, that's one thing - but preference for toys and activities is simply showing he's a sensitive boy who likes prettier more artistic things, and not the war toys we associate with boys.

That's my 2cents. ;). Good luck to all of your family.

I've been reading your books lately so this is an incredible surprise!

I realize it's already probably too late - but I would like to ask what your current thoughts are on Passion and Pom with everything new now known about chimp behavior since then. Was Passion just the equivalent to a human serial killer - a "bad egg"?

Also - will there ever be a comprehensive "personal" history of the Gombe chimps life stories written? Your books are so fascinating, but knowing these amazing creatures have been followed and documented for so long - I would love to sit down and be able to read everything known about each member all together.

Thank you for the amazing work - as someone discovering it now, it's breathtaking.
