To give you an idea, I am the sysadmin for an org that is ready to buy 200 Surface Pro's, the only thing stopping us is the lack of inboard WWAN. USB/Tethering is out of bounds due to security considerations.

Seriously, you guys have had three goes at this, and one of the most critical pieces of hardware in any ultraportable/mobile device is built in WWAN.

Seriously, get your acts together.

Do you have any statistics relating to the (apparent) increased population of both Box Jellyfish and Irukanji due to declining turtle numbers?

As a Cairns local, I seem to remember (30 years ago or so) being able to swim at beaches without fear of stings.

Arguably they don't. Humans are the only animals observed with the behavioural trait of "crying" tears as an emotional response. The tears are most likely the result of years of systemic mistreatment, arguably to elicit the exact same reaction for the elephants owners as a "beggar" as Wildlife SOS wanted, and thats ... pitty.

We can't measure an elephants emotional response, and any tears produced as a result, but the critical fact is not whether the elephant actually cried tears as an emotional response or not, but why Wildlife SOS used this specific "heartstring tactic" on the public to draw attention to their cause, it worked, but people, especially those with big hearts, are arguably being duped into shedding money to their cause this misdirection, and arguably the exact same mechanism as Raj's captors used to earn money from Raj in the first place.

Wildlife SOS got the coverage they required as a result, and money is now pouring into their cause, but using the exact same tactic as the bastards who tortured the elephant to do so is pretty horrible in my opinion ... at least now Raj will experience freedom after this one last pedestal for begging.

And trust me bleeding hearts, your downvotes don't worry me in the slightest, you might not like my opinion, and you're breaking rediquette by downvoting me for not liking it, but the fact remains, Wildlife SOS "capitalised" on Raj's obvious condition to benefit from it, in exactly the same way Raj's captors did.

Thanks for your answer, I find that I am wanting to rely on local media less and less for news and instead using multiple sources to find a "common thread" on a reported topic, preferably from different agencies (AP/Reuters/etc).

Hi Mark, you might not like these assumptive questions ...

Do you believe there is a decline in journalistic integrity? If so, where do you believe this comes from, the public's insatiable desire for instant news (at the expense of fact checking)?

Also, how do you think the quality of journalism can be improved to reinvigorate the public's perception of reporting facts over manufactured drama.
