How helpful is gravityspy.org #citizenscience, since finding #gravitationalwaves relies on cleaning out noise, like a needle in a haystack?

From what I gather listening to Dr. Rowan listen to recording at 3:40, space-time vibrates, stretches and compresses across a gravitational wave.

What implications does this have in our search for dark energy?

Agreed, the more senses we can integrate, the better. Like you say, the 'light' is electromagnetic waves. Would you explain more about the 'sound' -- not on the EM spectrum, since typical sound can't travel through a vacuum (like, space)? Thank you.
