What happened with the phoenix 1000? I always thought that would be the best yacht one could ever own. Did you have a buyer that just backed out after the design work was done?

Is there support for this kind of thing in adults?

I'm not sure if this falls under the same category, but if I get overwhelmed with at ask what I cannot easily mentally step through, I get paralyzing levels of anxiety. I must do whatever the task is the correct and most efficient way, if that cannot be accomplished then I give up. I may also just be lazy, I don't know.

One day maybe someone will want one, then maybe I can watch a documentary about it and have more accurate daydreams of cruising the seas in one!

Maybe parents should you know.. act like parents. Don't give your kids unlimited access to your credit card to buy games, and if they want to buy loot boxes, use it as a lesson about the value of money.

The problem with marking magic card resale as gambling is that the producer of the cards is not dictating the value of the card, the market is doing that.

If WOTC dictated an a real value for the card, they could allow you to sell the cards back at a cost, which would make it gambling.

The value or worth of a card varies wildly based on supply/demand and the meta of the game. If a build becomes popular, certain uncommons can be more valuable than most rares. In the end what you really have is just cardboard with some text on it used to play a game, you might be able to trade in for some money, you might not. Gambling is a pay money to win money system, this doesn't fit that criteria.
