Me, too! I can't imagine liking that term if I was short. It just seems to imply that they aren't real people. Like munchkins.

I have since corrected my opinion a bit after reading this exchange between Roger Ebert and Daniel Woodburn.

They need your address to send the email to the right representatives. You could look it up yourself, but I believe they ask for it on all online forms to politicians.

My theory is that it is a "better" term because the word "person" is in it.
