Have you reached out to other people with loss of vision for support? I used to work for an Opthalmology clinic, and I saw a lot of the emotions that I'm sure you are dealing with. It seems like finding support from other people would be really beneficial.

Honest question, would you rather have autism or be dead? Vaccines don't cause autism but even if they did, it's far better than death or permanent damage like polio causes.

Exactly. I have family members with autism and a friend with autism, and I adore them all. They are all high functioning, and I understand that someone non- verbal and low functioning is living a life with less quality, but they can still experience happiness and joy even if they have to be permanently institutionalized. I just would never say death from a horribly contagious disease is better, because it really isn't.

Not to mention, parents who don't vaccinate their kids potentially kill other kids with issues like cancer or prematurity that prevent them from getting vaccinated.

Because you are perpetuating a myth that some simple real research contradicts. Your post creates fear, and fear creates stupid decisions that hurts people in real life situations. So yeah, it pisses me off. I worked at a children's hospital and saw daily the consequences. Words do matter. Use them responsibly.
