What can I do to help stop the Canadian government from muzzling our scientists? They have said that scientists can't talk about a subject until they've published a journal of it, meanwhile our politicians with zero expertise are allowed to spout any BS that will push their personal agendas.

A corporate advisor will act in the best interests of his or her corporation, while an expert would be less biased and interested in a fair playing field instead of rigging the system for themselves.

So if the people are upset, and they lost a ton of money, is there anyone or anything in Russia that benefit from the invasion? I've heard about their worries of the new government not following through with a deal for access to the black Sea, but that doesn't seem like enough reason considering the consequences
