No it's not going to be depressing.

Turned out to be more inspirational than anything else, really.

Pleasantly surprised.

Well, shit. This is going to be depressing. I'll try to start off the questions:

  1. Why did you decide to forgive Mengele?
  2. Have you seen the documentary Hitler's Children and if so, what is your opinion of it?
  3. Not sure if you can answer this, but I'll ask anyways: Do you believe Albert Speer truly knew nothing of the Holocaust?
  4. To steer away from the Holocaust questions: Israel had a troubled history for its first few years. How were the conditions there at this time?

Also, guys, please, no Holocaust jokes.

Quick edit: Almost forgot to say thank you for allowing us to ask our questions.

I dont understand how you can be so skeptical if there is photographic evidence and survivor accounts of literally thousands of people.

Neither does Armenia.

For most Holocaust deniers I've met that aren't blatant bigots, they seem to deny it because they, as a person, cannot believe humanity can be capable of doing such a thing. The systematic killing of thousands, if not millions of people is not a new idea, we've been doing it since our very existence. However, before the Holocaust, most tried to cover their ears to such things. The Armenian Genocide, yes it was devastating, but few outside of the general region remember it. With the Holocaust, however, it is likely to be embedded into our memories for thousands of years.

People do not want to believe it happened. However, sooner or later they must come to terms with the truth and accept that we, as a species, have killed people based off their ethnicity and beliefs. It is only then that we may be able to learn and make sure that history does not repeat itself. Whether it be David Irving, Abdullah Gül, or Sarmila Bose, they must stop denying. They must.

Rant over.
