That's why I asked it. The first question you should ask any charity wanting your money is what percentage of that money goes to salaries within the organization. So many of these "charities" are actually scams. Your local food pantry tends to have zero - only a few paid staff and yet they serve a large amount of poor women. Keep it local - your money is often better served there.
