Did you feel like North Korean people were truly indoctrinated or did you feel like they were mostly acting because they didn't have a choice?
I mean, when you talk to someone who doesn't genuinely believe what they are saying but they're just saying it because they are obligated to do so, you can sort of feel it in the way they speak and look [or fail to look properly] at you. I'm wondering if you saw that in them or they actually seemed to just be content with the propaganda.
I would expect that they seemed curious and they probably wanted to open themselves to the outside world, but just couldn't but it would be nice to have your insight on that.
