I am not a pastor or anything, but the word spirit, and the greek word pneumos really equate to "breath", so "wind" is really more accurate of a phrase than you may think when OP says it.
It is the outpouring of love that is breathed forth from the Father and the Son.
Another greek word paraclete which means "helper" is another way to think of him. He's our helper and advocate. While the Father created us and the Son redeemed us, the paraclete helps us here on earth.
Anyone who knows this better than I do feel free to chime in and correct me.

Why do all new church buildings look like gymnasiums?
There’s a beautiful old church building in my town going unused in favor of some stadium seating-style windowless brick den of sadness.
