Secondly, when I was a teenager and a mallrat, my local mall had a BUNCH of posters of you everywhere where you were like an astronaut and saying "Math is POWER!" or something like that. I was wondering, how the heck do you get to DO something that cool? Did the math league or whatever just contact you?

FULL points for trying! Avapoet is just looking to be offended by someone not specifically confirming his or her chosen lifestyle is the SUPER COOLEST. Most poly relationships do indeed have a main/central partner, and if they're going to a relationship counselor it's almost definitely the case.

It's ok for people to not know about or assume people are members of your super uncommon lifestyle, Avapoet! Don't be offended please, it's counterproductive for everybody!

Yay you! I don't hate you or anything, I just think it's bad for poly people's chances at eventual acceptance by the mainstream when they criticize others for not being immediately TOTALLY accepting. It is pretty uncommon, and to get cranky because someone doesn't automatically assume your relationship is the norm is counterproductive!

You seem totally cool though. I'm glad for EVERYONE'S happy relationships!
