Did Apollo 13 make you nervous about your own launch?

I remember Gene* Cernan talking about how on launch the gimbaling of the engines made him think the entire rocket was going to smash into the launch tower. Was it that noticeable?

You aren't allowed to interfere with wildlife. I remember watching a doc on Antartica and a bunch of people saw a lost seal that was struggling to find its way back to water and was dying, but they couldn't help it. Have to let nature take its course.
