Hello! Where I'm from, asking for an upgrade, a discount or things like that is considered as (very) rude / impolite. However, in every post about hotels and stuff, employees are like "yes just ask nicely, we often do it". Is it a cultural difference? Do you provide such offers? How is it perceived?

The French table tennis team is full of Chinese who’re in France for some time. I don’t think anybody care.

Like 3/4 of the Qatari football team also.

To be honest, I’m not sure to understand why you’re getting pissed. It happens very often in a lot of sports. Sometimes it’s because they’re not good enough, sometimes it’s because they want to help a country to grow up, sometimes it’s for money, etc...

I could understand an Eritrean backlash as people wouldn’t accept that this guy represent them for whatever reason, but why all these Canadians (I assume they are) are mad at him?

Edit: also, these Chinese are not good enough for the Chinese team.

Hello and Thanks for this AMA.

What's the biggest misconception about your job? And also, how wrong are the TV Shows & Holywood about your field?
