Steelhead guide here. Ive heard of people go for years without catching a steelie. That is awesome you were able to hook up so fast. However i've caught upwards of probably a thousandor more steelhead and they still completely baffle me sometimes. Congrats to you, and why not put that on your resume? Haha

Do you hunt mostly Roosevelts? Not sure what washington has. Im assuming rocky mts on the east side?

I'm pretty sure Selah is almost directly north of my usual hunting grounds for elk in Oregon. Never have hunted Washington however, usually find myself heading out of state to Nevada. Man the Northwest is awesome!
