Who needs killing to get Clone High back?

I'm going to give some personal details here. Nothing truly identifying, so the mods/admins can chill.

When my wife was 16, which was long before I met her, she had the worst case of severe UC that the midwest had ever developed in someone so young. Her entire large intestine turned into a material similar to what would happen if you take a tissue paper and soak it in a bowl of water for a few minutes. It was pretty horrific. The large hospital in Des Moines wouldn't touch her because this isn't anything they'd seen before in someone so young, and they referred her to the UIHC. UIHC also said "no way," and she was sent to Mayo Clinic.

Up there, they did a complete colectomy with illeo-anal pull-through fusion with J-pouch. The recovery was, in her words, pretty nasty. However, now she doesn't poop in a bag, but poops like a regular person poops (in the neighbors yard!.... Just kidding, we have toilets.)

So my suggestion for you would be to consider that option, if it's available, and lose the bag entirely. Just a suggestion.
