Should marxists put forward a critique of nationalism or try to work with the framework of national sentiment to push policies?

I would say just start by reading Capital Vol 1 with David Harveys class online on youtube. I managed to get through the whole thing (Its looong and sometimes not very exciting, like Chapter 3 for example). But it totally changed the way I look at economies and international policy.
