Hi Buzz,
it has been 45 years 3 month and 10days since the landing on the moon. Thats a really long time for a human being. What do you actually remember from that trip? I suppose the brain is easily tricked to mix in "false memory" which you have seen/told after you came back to earth (for example: pictures or stories).
Bonus question: Where do you think human space exploration will be in 45 years?
Thanks for taking the time!
P.S. Sometimes people doubt that it worth to explore space - most of the time they doubt that society has any lasting benefit from it. I'm working as a Project Manager for projects in developing countries. My bread and butter tool is Project Cycle Management. It's a way to organise bigger projects in way that they are still handleable. As far as I know Nasa developed PCM for the Apollo program. Sometimes you just have to look closer to see all the benefits we have from programs like Apollo.

From Germany: Hi, thank you for doing this AMA. Almost all people I get to know from Czech were pretty awesome and had a special type of black humor I quite enjoy. You lived through some of the hardest times of the last century. How did this affect as a human being, your psyche and the psyche of your friends?
