How often are the chimps given health evaluations? And how do they decide what special diets each chimp gets for their individual conditions?

I just visited the Project Chimps website and the first thing i noticed (under Medical Program) was that the chimps only get health exams once every 4 years. That seems way too infrequent especially since they came out of the labs with bad health conditions such as hepatitis. Is this what chimps should get?
